Highly Qualified ??

There is still time to use “service to the District” to meet HOUSSE  Part One requirements  in   becoming a “Highly Qualified” teacher.  This manner of qualifying may end  in June of 2007.   If you are a teacher, “Not new to the profession”  and do not hold a “Highly Qualified” certificate, please consult     your  site administrator  to obtain a list of qualifying activities.

 

 

 

Curriculum Committee

The  Curriculum committee will meet  with Lennie Tate Monday, December 18th. If you have concerns or questions please contact a member of the committee: Don  Hanson, Sherry Hoon, Conner Oliver, or David Pummill.

 

 

Minority Reception

Mark your calendars for  the  CTA Minority Member Reception on January 18th.  The reception will be from 4-5 p.m. at the CTA office  on Tharp Road in Yuba City. Ethnic/Minority members of MUTA are especially  encouraged to attend. Speakers from CTA will  discuss the possibilities of leadership  roles in  CTA

 

 

Help your students to “Get Real”. (CTA Insider Vol.5)

 

The Respect All Project  of the Women’s Educational Media is  a series of documentary videos with curriculum guides and professional diversity training to help  create safe schools  and communities. Let’s Get Real  is a powerful educational tool  for  addressing name calling and bullying  in schools.
